Raymond James analyst Jayson Bedford downgraded Teleflex (NYSE: TFX) from Outperform to Market Perform.
The analyst comments: "We are (humbly) lowering our rating on TFX to Market Perform (from Outperform). We like the active portfolio management, but slowing fundamentals is our bigger concern. We overstayed our welcome with this stock, as we were stubbornly patient in thinking that Barrigel would help Urolift sales. Stabilization in Urolift is further out, and likely prompted some of the portfolio activity that we are seeing today. We acknowledge that a lot of the "bad news" may be in the stock but, for us, valuation cannot be the primary driver of our thesis."
