Strategy raises $2.1 billion through share sales, acquires 22,305 bitcoin

Strategy Inc (NASDAQ: MSTR) announced that it sold approximately $2.1 billion worth of securities through its at-the-market offering program during the period from January 12 to January 19, 2026, according to a regulatory filing.

The company sold 2,945,371 shares of STRC stock for $294.5 million in notional value, generating net proceeds of $294.3 million. It also sold 38,796 shares of STRK stock for $3.9 million in notional value, with net proceeds of $3.4 million. Additionally, Strategy sold 10,399,650 shares of MSTR common stock, receiving net proceeds of $1.83 billion.

Strategy used the proceeds from these share sales to purchase 22,305 bitcoin during the same period for an aggregate purchase price of $2.13 billion, representing an average purchase price of approximately $95,284 per bitcoin.

Following these purchases, Strategy's total bitcoin holdings increased to 709,715 bitcoin as of January 19, 2026. The company's aggregate purchase price for its entire bitcoin portfolio stands at $53.92 billion, with an average purchase price of $75,979 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses.

The company maintains several types of preferred stock available for sale under its ATM program, including STRF stock with $1.62 billion available for issuance, STRC stock with $3.63 billion available, STRK stock with $20.33 billion available, and STRD stock with $4.01 billion available.

Strategy noted that it maintains a dashboard on its website as a disclosure channel for providing information to the public, including market prices of its securities, bitcoin purchases and holdings, and other key performance metrics.
