Pop Culture Group plans to acquire 1,000 bitcoin over next year
Pop Culture Group Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: CPOP) announced plans to accumulate an additional 1,000 bitcoin over the next year, according to a company press release. The Hong Kong-based company said the initiative aims to establish a $100 million "Crypto Pop Fund" digital fund.
The company stated it seeks to enter what it describes as the trillion-dollar crypto entertainment market. Pop Culture Group said it plans to integrate artificial intelligence, blockchain, tokenization, and gamification technologies into its operations.
According to the announcement, the company intends to use these technologies to develop ticketing systems, audience engagement experiences, and financing solutions for music festivals and concerts. The press release did not provide details about the timeline for implementation or specific revenue projections.
The company operates under CPFH and trades on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the ticker symbol CPOP.
