ZimVie Inc. (NASDAQ: ZIMV) announced that stockholders voted to approve the company's acquisition by an affiliate of ARCHIMED at a special meeting held October 10, 2025.
The approval relates to the merger agreement dated July 20, 2025, between the dental implant company and the healthcare-focused investment firm. ZimVie expects the transaction to close October 20, 2025, subject to satisfaction of conditions outlined in the merger agreement.
Based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, ZimVie develops and manufactures dental implants, biomaterials, and digital workflow solutions for tooth replacement and restoration procedures. The company operates additional facilities globally.
ARCHIMED manages €8 billion across various funds and maintains offices in Europe, North America, and Asia. The investment firm focuses exclusively on healthcare industries, including areas such as MedTech, Biopharma Products, Diagnostics, and Life Science Tools.
