Twenty One Capital outlines bitcoin-focused acquisition strategy

April 30, 2026 9:14 AM EDT

Twenty One Capital, Inc. (NYSE: XXI) announced its operating strategy centered on potential acquisitions of Strike, a Bitcoin financial services company, and Elektron, a Bitcoin mining platform, according to a company press release.

The Austin-based company plans to consolidate Bitcoin treasury, mining, financial services, and capital markets operations into a single platform through mergers and acquisitions.

The strategy includes four key areas: financial services and distribution involving licenses, compliance, custody, technology and customer base; Bitcoin infrastructure with mining operations; capital markets strategy including securitization of loan books and mining revenue; and mergers and acquisitions of Bitcoin businesses.

Twenty One expects this approach to move the company beyond treasury holdings toward an integrated operating platform with recurring revenue and long-term Bitcoin accumulation.

The company stated that additional details regarding transaction terms, timing, and governance will be provided as discussions progress. No specific financial terms or timelines were disclosed for the potential acquisitions.

Twenty One describes itself as a Bitcoin-focused operating company that builds businesses across financial services and capital markets, providing shareholders with direct exposure to Bitcoin.
