TestEquity appoints five executives to leadership roles

TestEquity, a distributor of test and measurement solutions and electronics production supplies, announced the appointment of five senior executives and one promotion to support its growth strategy.
The company named Jacob Harris as Chief Sales Officer, Karen McGowan as Chief People Officer, John Leahy as Chief Merchandising Officer, Clifton Wu as Chief of Staff and Strategy, and Klaus Werner as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer. William Bland was promoted to President of TestEquity/DSG Mexico.
Harris joined from Arrow Electronics where he spent 26 years in commercial leadership roles. McGowan brings over 30 years of HR experience from companies including Swarovski and Gap Inc. Leahy has nearly 30 years of merchandising experience, including management of more than $4 billion in annual spend at Grainger.
Wu has over 20 years of strategy experience, including roles at Global Industrial and Citi. Werner previously led digital transformation initiatives at Global Industrial, HD Supply, and Lowe's. Bland has nearly three decades of experience at Hisco and TestEquity and will oversee operations across 12 locations in Mexico and Central America.
The appointments support TestEquity's AmpX growth strategy focused on customer experience, operational excellence, and digital expansion. The company serves customers across aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
