Skyward Specialty Insurance Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKWD) completed its acquisition of Apollo Group Holdings Limited at previously agreed terms, according to a company statement.
Apollo operates as a U.K. subsidiary of Skyward Specialty and functions as an insurance platform at Lloyd's of London. The acquired company offers products across property, casualty, marine, energy and transportation, specialty, reinsurance, and digital risk programs.
Skyward Specialty operates through nine underwriting divisions including accident and health, agriculture and credit reinsurance, captives, construction and energy solutions, global property, professional lines, specialty programs, surety and transactional excess and surplus lines.
The Houston-based specialty insurance company's insurance subsidiaries include Houston Specialty Insurance Company, Imperium Insurance Company, Great Midwest Insurance Company, and Oklahoma Specialty Insurance Company. These companies hold A.M. Best ratings of A (Excellent) with stable outlook.
The acquisition terms were not disclosed in the announcement. Skyward Specialty trades on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
