SiriusPoint Chief Accounting Officer to resign

SiriusPoint Ltd. (NYSE: SPNT) announced that Chief Accounting Officer Evan Cabat will resign from his position effective October 31, 2025, to pursue another opportunity.
The company stated that Cabat's resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the company or its Board of Directors, including matters relating to financial statements, internal control over financial reporting, operations, policies or practices.
Cabat will continue in his current role until the effective date and assist with the transition of his responsibilities. Upon his departure, Chief Financial Officer Jim McKinney will assume the role of principal accounting officer in addition to his existing responsibilities as CFO and principal financial officer.
The company received notice of Cabat's decision on October 13, 2025, according to the statement.
