Similarweb (NYSE: SMWB) and Perplexity announced an expanded partnership that integrates Similarweb's digital data directly into Perplexity Computer's AI workflows. The integration allows users to access market intelligence and consumer behavior data within the Perplexity environment without switching platforms.
Perplexity Computer serves as an agent orchestrator that creates teams of AI agents across more than 20 models to execute workflows. The integration includes Similarweb's official MCP connector for Perplexity and native integrations that provide digital data directly within the platform.
The partnership enables businesses to automate research, marketing analysis, and strategic decision-making using Similarweb's market intelligence and consumer behavior insights. Users can access data across customer journeys, consumer behavior in apps, retail, search, and other digital channels through Computer's AI-powered workflows.
"AI tools are only as powerful as the data supporting them," said Benjamin Seror, Chief Product Officer at Similarweb. "More and more businesses are moving from ad hoc questions to building AI-powered workflows that automate research and marketing execution at scale."
"By integrating Similarweb data directly into Perplexity Computer, users can access reliable market, consumer, and competitive insights inside the workflows where they already work and make decisions," said Dmitry Shevelenko, Chief Business Officer at Perplexity.
The integration is part of Similarweb's broader strategy to embed its intelligence directly into AI tools through its "Similarweb. Everywhere you work." initiative. The company has established partnerships with hundreds of AI tools through its MCP server.
Similarweb provides web and app data, analytics, and insights for businesses to analyze markets, identify competitive threats, and optimize strategies. The company is based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
