Salesforce Inc. (NYSE: CRM) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Regrello, a company that develops AI-powered business process automation technology, according to a company statement.
Regrello's platform converts business data into automated workflows using artificial intelligence. Salesforce plans to integrate Regrello's technology with its existing Agentforce and Slack products after the acquisition closes.
"Businesses need greater agility, yet too often critical processes are hindered by disconnected tools and manual workflows," said Steve Fisher, President and Chief Product Officer at Salesforce. "Integrating Regrello will turn unstructured artifacts into coordinated workflows, bringing humans and agents together on the Salesforce Platform."
Aman Naimat, CEO of Regrello, stated that joining Salesforce would provide the company with greater reach to bring process automation to more organizations.
The acquisition is expected to close in Salesforce's third fiscal quarter of 2026, subject to standard closing conditions. Salesforce will fund the transaction using cash from its balance sheet. The company indicated the transaction will not affect its fiscal year 2026 guidance or its capital return program.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed in the announcement.
