ReElement Technologies adds three new staff members

ReElement Technologies Corporation, a subsidiary of American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ: AREC), announced three new hires as part of its talent expansion initiative, according to a press release.
The company hired David Appy as Principal Research Scientist. Appy holds a PhD in analytical chemistry from Iowa State University and a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. He will focus on analytical techniques, extraction methodologies, and research and development initiatives.
Alexis Thomas joined as Materials Lab Technician with four years of laboratory experience and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ball State University. Thomas will handle quality control for laboratory and commercial operations and help develop standard operating procedures.
Rhett Rezendes was hired as Government Affairs Intern to support communications with government agencies. Rezendes graduated from Virginia Military Institute and is currently a graduate student at Georgetown University.
ReElement operates internal training programs and maintains partnerships with educational institutions including Ivy Tech Community College. The company also runs a summer internship program.

ReElement Technologies focuses on refining rare earth elements and critical minerals from recycled materials, concentrated ores, and coal-based waste streams. American Resources Corporation develops critical mineral supply chain operations including extraction and processing of metallurgical carbon, iron ore, and critical minerals for electrification markets.
