Rackspace Technology achieves AWS automotive competency designation

Rackspace Technology (NASDAQ: RXT) announced it has achieved the Amazon Web Services Automotive Competency designation. The competency recognizes AWS Partner Network members that demonstrate technical expertise and proven customer success in delivering solutions across the automotive industry.

The San Antonio-based cloud and AI solutions company said the achievement reflects over five years of work with original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide. "We combine deep industry knowledge with the complete Rackspace Technology portfolio for sustainable mobility solutions of the future," said D K Sinha, President, Public Cloud, Rackspace Technology.

The company provided an example of its automotive work, describing support for a German automotive OEM that modernized its legacy shopfloor information technology on AWS. Rackspace Technology implemented an event-driven data pipeline that delivered real-time visibility into shopfloor machinery data, enabling faster operator response and streamlined analytics capabilities.

The competency adds to Rackspace Technology's portfolio of AWS competencies and represents continued investment in developing industry-specific solutions, according to the company's statement.
