RIM (RIMM) Shares Lower Amid PlayBook Recall
Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) shares are down more than 1 percent in early-morning trade as the company announced it will recall around 1,000 BlackBerry PlayBook tablets, citing a glitch with the operating system.
News of the recall comes less than one month after the PlayBook officially went on sale.
RIM has said it will replace any affected tablets and that any users experiencing software bugs should contact the company.
