PureCycle receives ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification

PureCycle Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PCT) announced it has received ISO 9001:2015 certification from DQS Global for its quality management system at its Ironton, Ohio recycling facility.

The certification covers the company's dissolution recycling operations that produce polypropylene resin from plastic waste. ISO 9001:2015 requires organizations to demonstrate documented processes, risk management procedures, leadership accountability and continuous improvement frameworks through independent auditing.

"Achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification is a meaningful milestone in PureCycle's operational journey," said Dustin Olson, CEO of PureCycle Technologies. "This certification gives them independent, third-party confirmation that our systems and processes are built to perform reliably, consistently, and at scale."

The certification adds to existing third-party validations including multiple FDA No Objection Letters, GreenCircle Certified's Recycled Content Certification, and the Association of Plastic Recycler's Post-Consumer Recycled Content Certification. The company also holds a REACH Certificate of Compliance allowing sales of its PureFive resin in the European Union.

PureCycle's technology removes color, odor and contaminants from polypropylene recyclables to produce resin for use in consumer packaging, textiles, automotive and other applications. The company operates under a global license for dissolution recycling technology originally developed by Procter & Gamble.
