Parsons secures $81 million Army radar contract

Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) received an $81 million task order from the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command's C5ISR division for radar engineering solutions, according to a company statement.
The contract includes a 12-month base performance period and four 12-month option periods. The award was made under the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services contract vehicle.
Under the agreement, Parsons will enhance Army aerial and ground radar capabilities through development of radio frequency technologies, artificial intelligence integration, and systems engineering services. The work encompasses operational support, program management, engineering, integration, prototype development, and fabrication.
"We are committed to equipping the U.S. Army DEVCOM with state-of-the-art radar solutions that bolster national security and ensure our forces maintain a strategic edge in modern warfare," said Mike Kushin, Parsons' President of Defense and Intelligence.
The contract represents a recompete award for services related to Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities.
