Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) has opened a new 27,000-square-foot facility in Redstone Gateway, Alabama, located near Gate 9 of Redstone Arsenal. The facility is designed to support defense, space, and missile systems programs.
The new facility includes 21,000 square feet of high-bay space for advanced programs, with the remaining area dedicated to offices, collaboration spaces, and secure environments. The location allows for integration with existing programs at Redstone Arsenal and supports development, testing, and deployment activities.
"As a longtime contributor to Huntsville's defense ecosystem, our new Redstone Gateway facility is a strategic investment to better serve our customers and support the warfighter," said Jim Matthews, Parsons Vice President, Mission Systems Analysis.
Steven M. Rush, Director of the Missile and Space Intelligence Center, stated the facility "represents a continued commitment to both the Redstone Arsenal space and missile defense missions as well as the broader Huntsville community."
The facility is positioned to support collaboration between government organizations, private sector companies, and academic partners in the Huntsville area. Parsons indicated the location aligns with missions of Redstone Arsenal, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Space Force.
The company stated the facility will support national security priorities, including the Golden Dome program. The opening represents Parsons' expansion of its presence in the Huntsville defense community.
