Olin (OLN) Achieves ISCC PLUS Certification

October 19, 2023 7:32 AM EDT

Olin Corporation (NYSE: OLN), a leading global Epoxy solutions provider, has achieved International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification for its Stade, Germany facility.

The ISCC PLUS certification is a globally recognized standard that demonstrates a company's adherence to strict sustainability criteria throughout its supply chain. This certified mass-balance approach to manufacturing enables our Stade Epoxy site to offer products with bio and renewable feedstock content through our existing manufacturing processes.

"Due to our efficient operations, our back-integration, and local supply, Olin's Epoxy business already has an advantaged carbon footprint compared to many other producers. Our ISCC PLUS certification provides Olin with the opportunity to offer our customers an innovative, lower percentage carbon footprint product offering," explains Verghese Thomas, Olin Vice President, Epoxy Systems and Chief Sustainability Officer. "Our team's achievement demonstrates our commitment to expanding our already robust and innovative Epoxy products portfolio with these new sustainable offerings."

Olin is committed to finding new ways to lower energy consumption, increase operating efficiency, recycle materials, and conserve natural resources. ISCC PLUS Certification for Olin's European Epoxy products is one more sustainable offering where we can partner with our customers on solutions for a sustainable future.
