Magnera Corporation (NYSE: MAGN) announced the sale of its Caerphilly, United Kingdom operations to Polyart Group, a holding of Prudentia Capital.

The transaction involves the sale of 100% of the shares of the Caerphilly business, which produces metallized paper for premium labels, gift wrap and food packaging applications. The sale followed a strategic portfolio review of Magnera's manufacturing technologies, products and markets.

"We are deeply grateful for the dedication and commitment of our Caerphilly team and we wish them continued success as they join Polyart," said Curt Begle, Magnera CEO.

Dominik Zwerger, Founding Partner of Prudentia Capital, said the company plans to leverage the expertise of the management team to continue providing products to customers globally.

Magnera operates 44 global production facilities and serves more than 1,000 customers worldwide with material solutions including components for absorbent hygiene products, protective apparel, wipes, specialty building and construction products, and food and beverage industry products. The company employs approximately 8,000 people.

Polyart Group was formed in 2020 through the merger of Arjobex, MDV, Tech Folien and Reisewitz. The company manufactures film and paper solutions for specialty label markets, digital printing and display applications. Polyart is headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, France.
