MIND Technology completes expansion of Huntsville facility

MIND Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MIND) completed an expansion of its manufacturing and repair facility in Huntsville, Texas, according to a company statement.

The expansion adds floor space and enhancements to accommodate anticipated higher activity levels at the facility. The company's MIND Maritime Acoustics unit will use the expanded space for larger manufacturing and product repair projects.

"The additional floor space and other enhancements will allow our MIND Maritime Acoustics, LLC unit to efficiently take on significantly larger manufacturing and product repair projects," said Rob Capps, president and CEO of MIND Technology. The increased activity is expected to support existing Seamap products, newly developed products and services to third parties.

MIND Technology provides technology to oceanographic, hydrographic, defense, seismic and security industries. The company is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, with operations in the United States, Singapore, Malaysia and the United Kingdom. Its Seamap unit designs, manufactures and sells marine exploration and survey equipment.
