Interactive Brokers Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IBKR) announced the launch of its redesigned IBKR GlobalTrader mobile app. The updated trading platform includes new features such as integrated access to forecast contracts, AI-generated news summaries, and a redesigned Explore section for identifying investment opportunities across global markets.

The app allows users to trade stocks, ETFs, options, and access cryptocurrencies through a mobile interface. IBKR GlobalTrader serves as a complement to IBKR Mobile, the company's flagship mobile trading platform, offering what the company describes as a more streamlined experience.

"We created IBKR GlobalTrader as a streamlined complement to our flagship IBKR Mobile, bringing the power of our comprehensive trading tools into a simpler, more intuitive experience," said Milan Galik, Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Brokers.

The redesigned app includes several new features: direct trading of forecast contracts, enhanced watchlists with spark charts and portfolio management tools, and Investment Themes that link companies across the S&P 1500 universe. The platform also offers a simplified order ticket with a step-by-step "Focused" order view and an option to switch to an advanced ticket interface.

The app is available for iOS and Android devices. According to the company, it has received adoption among introducing brokers and investors. Interactive Brokers stated that additional enhancements will be released in future updates.

The company provides automated trade execution and custody services across more than 160 markets globally. Interactive Brokers serves individual investors, hedge funds, proprietary trading groups, financial advisors and introducing brokers.
