IceCure Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: ICCM) announced that four independent studies featuring its ProSense cryoablation system were presented at the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting, which took place from November 30 to December 4, 2025, in Chicago.

The studies involved a total of 263 patients across three of the four abstracts presented. The research was conducted by medical professionals from Spain and Italy who used the ProSense system to treat breast cancer patients.

One Spanish study examined 73 women considered inoperable who were treated with percutaneous cryoablation under local anesthesia. The study reported complete tumor necrosis in 56 tumors, representing 81.2% of cases, with 100% success rate in luminal cancers up to 2.5 centimeters.

An Italian study comparing treatment approaches found that cryoablation combined with hormonal therapy achieved the greatest tumor size reduction at 83.3%, compared to 61.7% for cryoablation alone and 42.1% for hormonal therapy alone. The study included 111 patients with a mean age of 81.2 years.

A third study involving 79 patients examined the use of contrast-enhanced mammography to assess treatment outcomes, finding significant association between imaging results and biopsy findings at 12-month follow-up.

The fourth presentation focused on imaging findings after cryoablation procedures to identify successful treatment without requiring biopsy.

ProSense received FDA marketing authorization earlier this year for treating low-risk breast cancer with adjuvant endocrine therapy in women aged 70 and above. The system uses liquid nitrogen to freeze and destroy tumors as an alternative to surgical removal.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
