Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) today announced the pricing of its $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.050% senior notes due 2026, $500 million aggregate principal amount of 6.100% senior notes due 2028, $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.400% senior notes due 2030 and $1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.550% senior notes due 2033 at a price to the public of 99.941%, 99.887%, 99.885% and 99.886%, respectively, of their face value.
The sale of the senior notes is expected to settle on October 13, 2023, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. Energy Transfer intends to use the net proceeds of approximately $3.973 billion (before offering expenses) from this offering to refinance existing indebtedness, including borrowings under our revolving credit facility and for general partnership purposes.
Mizuho Securities USA LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc. and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
The offering of the senior notes is being made pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement and prospectus filed by Energy Transfer with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).
