Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) announced enhancements to its Dell AI Factory at the SC25 conference, introducing new automation platforms and infrastructure solutions designed to streamline enterprise AI deployment.
The company expanded its Dell Automation Platform to include automated deployment of AI workloads with validated solutions and security frameworks. Dell Professional Services will offer AI use case pilots using customer data to demonstrate business value before larger investments.
New server offerings include the Dell PowerEdge XE9785 and XE9785L, featuring dual-socket AMD EPYC processors and eight AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs per node. The air-cooled XE9785 occupies 10U while the liquid-cooled XE9785L requires 3OU of rack space. Dell also introduced the PowerEdge R770AP with Intel Xeon 6 P-core processors for enhanced parallel processing.
Data management updates include Dell PowerScale availability as independent software licenses on qualified PowerEdge servers and new parallel NFS support for improved throughput across multiple cluster nodes. Dell ObjectScale will add AI-optimized search capabilities including S3 Tables and S3 Vector APIs.
Networking advancements feature the PowerSwitch Z9964F-ON and Z9964FL-ON switches powered by Broadcom Tomahawk-6, delivering 102.4 terabytes per second switching capacity. These switches support deployments with over 100,000 accelerator chips.
The company introduced rack-scale management improvements including an Integrated Rack Controller for leak detection and automated response, and the PowerCool Rack-mount Coolant Distribution Unit supporting up to 150 kW rack densities in a 4U form factor.
"Enterprises tell us they want AI capabilities on their own infrastructure, but complexity has been the barrier," said Arthur Lewis, president of Dell's Infrastructure Solutions Group.
Availability varies by product, with some solutions available immediately while others are scheduled for release through 2026. The PowerEdge XE9785 will be available in December, while software-defined PowerScale is planned for the first half of 2026.
