Coursera names Mike Foley as interim CFO

Coursera Inc. (NYSE: COUR) appointed Mike Foley as interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, the online learning platform announced. The company continues searching for a permanent CFO.

Foley brings more than 20 years of financial and operational experience across technology and media companies. He most recently served as a Strategic Adviser to AI and technology companies at New Enterprise Associates. His previous roles include CFO at Unity Technologies and senior positions at Branch, Google, Electronic Arts, and Microsoft.

"Mike brings deep financial and operational expertise, along with a proven track record of helping technology companies scale through periods of rapid growth and transformation," said Greg Hart, Coursera's CEO.

Foley expressed his commitment to working with the leadership team to address strategic priorities and ensure operational capabilities for the company's next growth phase.

Coursera operates one of the world's largest online learning platforms, with 191 million registered learners as of September 30, 2025. The company partners with over 375 university and industry partners to offer courses, certificates, and degrees.
