December 9, 2025 6:16 AM EST

Comstock Inc. (NYSE: LODE) announced that its subsidiary Comstock Metals LLC received recognition from the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada and Nevada elected officials for business development achievements.

The recognition acknowledges Comstock Metals' growth, innovation, workforce development, and community partnerships in northern Nevada. The company operates what it describes as the only certified, North American, zero-landfill solution for recycling end-of-life solar panels.

"Comstock has historic and genuine roots in the communities of northern Nevada, and we are honored with EDAWN's recognition of our continued commitment to innovation, growth and sustainability in the region," stated Corrado De Gasperis, Comstock's Executive Chairman and CEO.

U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen, and Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo also provided official recognition to Comstock Metals for its operations and investment in northern Nevada.

Dr. Fortunato Villamagna, President of Comstock Metals, said the company has positioned itself in Nevada to serve the southwestern United States region, where end-of-life solar panels require processing. The company's operations focus on repurposing and reusing materials from these panels.

Comstock Inc. operates technologies and supply chains for extracting and converting natural resources into reusable metals including silver, aluminum, and gold, primarily from end-of-life photovoltaic systems. The company is based in Virginia City, Nevada.

The information was disclosed in a company press release.
