Commvault announces bi-directional integration with CrowdStrike SIEM

February 25, 2026 8:31 AM EST

Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT) announced an expanded integration with CrowdStrike that delivers bi-directional visibility between Commvault Cloud and CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. The integration allows security and IT teams to verify backup integrity for recovery decisions following cyberattacks.

The new integration enables Commvault to deliver AI-powered anomaly alerts directly into Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. Previously, Commvault worked with CrowdStrike to identify compromised backup data through an integration with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.

The expanded partnership provides shared telemetry between the platforms, allowing teams to assess backup data integrity within Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. The integration combines signals from both platforms to support recovery workflows using verified clean backups.

"By bringing together CrowdStrike's security insights with Commvault's deep AI-powered data intelligence, we're making it easier for security and IT teams to collaborate, identify threats earlier, and make informed trusted recovery decisions," said Pranay Ahlawat, Chief Technology and AI Officer at Commvault.

Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, stated that the integration brings "Commvault's recovery intelligence into CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM" to provide organizations with operational visibility connecting security signals with data integrity.

The integration is available through the CrowdStrike Marketplace at no additional charge. Customers can activate the integration within their existing environments.
