CPI Aerostructures addresses unusual stock trading activity

CPI Aerostructures Inc. (NYSE American: CVU) issued a statement addressing unusual trading activity in its common stock at the request of NYSE American.

The company conducted internal reviews and confirmed it is not aware of any material, undisclosed corporate developments that would account for the trading activity observed.

CPI Aero disclosed it received an order from Raytheon to manufacture structural missile wing assemblies for an undisclosed platform. The company stated the order aligns with similar orders previously announced in the ordinary course of business.

CPI Aero manufactures structural assemblies for fixed wing aircraft, helicopters and airborne intelligence surveillance systems for commercial aerospace and national security markets. The company operates as a Tier 1 supplier to aircraft manufacturers or Tier 2 subcontractor to major suppliers, and serves as a prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Defense.
