Brenmiller Energy receives AI management certification

March 31, 2026 8:07 AM EDT

Brenmiller Energy Ltd. (NASDAQ: BNRG) announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for its artificial intelligence management system. The certification covers the company's use of AI across energy storage optimization, predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, energy market analysis and process optimization.

The Israel-based thermal energy storage technology provider said the certification supports its BNRG360 strategy as it expands from standalone thermal energy storage deployments toward integrated clean heat-and-power solutions. The company recently delivered its Tempo Beverages project and recognized its first revenue from a thermal energy storage system sale.

"As Brenmiller moves from proving the technology to scaling commercialization, the next challenge is operating with greater precision, predictability and discipline across a growing portfolio of projects and customer applications," said Avi Brenmiller, chairman and chief executive officer.

ISO/IEC 42001 is an international standard for artificial intelligence management systems. The company said the certification supports structured deployment of AI-enabled tools across its commercial operations as it works to expand its customer base and increase participation in longer-term project revenues.

Brenmiller said these AI capabilities will support optimization of thermal energy storage charging and discharge cycles, operational forecasting, predictive maintenance, energy market analytics, and process improvements intended to enhance system performance and customer value.

The announcement follows the company's launch of BNRG360, which expands Brenmiller's offering into integrated clean heat-and-power solutions. The company said it has expected 2026 revenue tied to Tempo execution milestones.
