Blackbaud (NASDAQ: BLKB) announced Tuesday the integration of Constant Contact's digital marketing platform into its Raiser's Edge NXT fundraising software. The collaboration embeds AI-powered email, SMS, and social media marketing tools directly within the fundraising platform used by nonprofit organizations.
The integration allows Raiser's Edge NXT users to access Constant Contact's marketing capabilities without switching between systems. Users can create personalized campaigns, automate communications, and import constituent lists while maintaining data synchronization between platforms.
"Raiser's Edge NXT delivers unmatched fundraising capabilities, starting with a data model that's purpose-built for our social impact users and supercharged with our own fundraising-optimized AI tools," said Sudip Datta, chief product officer at Blackbaud. "Constant Contact brings a world-class digital marketing platform with innovative AI and automation capabilities."
Frank Vella, CEO of Constant Contact, stated the integration "enables us to help nonprofit organizations elevate their fundraising through more effective marketing. Uniting the data from our two platforms unlocks a holistic view of donor behavior and allows for AI-powered personalization and tailored messaging to constituents at scale."
The phased rollout begins this month for select Raiser's Edge NXT customers, with general availability expected in early August. All Raiser's Edge NXT customers will receive access to a Constant Contact trial, though a paid subscription is required for full functionality.
The integration eliminates manual data transfers between systems and provides AI-powered campaign creation tools that can generate marketing materials and communication schedules. Users can update subscription preferences and retain selected fields from Raiser's Edge NXT in their Constant Contact accounts.
Charleston, South Carolina-based Blackbaud provides software for nonprofit and education sectors, with over $100 billion raised, granted or managed through its platforms annually.
