American Bitcoin Corp. (NASDAQ: ABTC) acquired approximately 416 bitcoin since December 2, bringing its total bitcoin holdings to 4,783 as of December 8, according to a company statement.

The bitcoin reserve includes holdings acquired through mining operations and strategic purchases, as well as bitcoin held in custody or pledged for miner purchases under an agreement with BITMAIN. The company reported its Satoshis Per Share metric grew 17.3% from November 5 to December 8, while its bitcoin reserve increased 19.5% during the same period.

"With our bitcoin reserve now at 4,783, we continue to scale at an exceptional pace," said Eric Trump, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of American Bitcoin. "SPS grew more than 17% in just over a month, and we added 416 bitcoin in the past week."

American Bitcoin trades on the Nasdaq following a merger with Gryphon Digital Mining Inc. completed on September 3. The company operates as a majority-owned subsidiary of Hut 8 Corp. and positions itself as a bitcoin accumulation platform combining self-mining operations with strategic bitcoin purchases.

The company calculates its Satoshis Per Share metric to show the amount of bitcoin attributable to each outstanding share of common stock. As of December 8, the metric stood at 507 satoshis per share, with one bitcoin equal to 100 million satoshis.
