Gold Spikes Higher Following FOMC Sentiment on QE Taper
SPDR Gold Trust (NYSE: GLD) and iShares Gold Trust (NYSE: IAU) saw a spike higher following FOMC minutes released today.
The Fed said, in part, that more labor market improvements were needed before a tapering of QE would commence.
The SPDR Gold Trust is up 0.8 percent while the iShares Gold Trust is up 0.8 percent today.
