e.l.f. Beauty appoints former Church & Dwight CEO to board

e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. (NYSE: ELF) appointed Matthew Farrell to its board of directors as a Class I director, effective February 12, 2026, according to a company statement.

Farrell will stand for election at the company's 2026 annual meeting of stockholders. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Church & Dwight Co. Inc., a consumer products company, from January 2016 until April 2025 and as Chairman from 2019 until September 2025.

Prior to his CEO role, Farrell held various positions at Church & Dwight beginning in 2006, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until 2014, then Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer until December 2015.

Before joining Church & Dwight, Farrell served as Chief Financial Officer of pharmaceutical company Alpharma Inc., which is now part of Pfizer. He also held positions at Ingersoll-Rand Ltd. as Vice President of Investor Relations & Communications and various senior financial roles at AlliedSignal Inc., now Honeywell International Inc.

Farrell began his career at KPMG LLP as an audit partner. He currently serves on the boards of Trinseo PLC since 2020, Morton Salt since July 2025, and Novanta since November 2025. He previously served on Lydall Co., Inc.'s board from 2003 to 2021.

Farrell holds a bachelor's degree from Manhattan College and is a certified public accountant.
