X4 Pharmaceuticals directors resign, board appointments made

X4 Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: XFOR) announced that two directors resigned from its board effective immediately on August 22, 2025.

David McGirr and R. Keith Woods stepped down from the board of directors and all committees. The company stated the resignations were not due to any disagreement with the company regarding operations, policies or practices.

Following the departures, X4 Pharmaceuticals made several board committee appointments. Michael Wyzga was named chair of the audit committee, while Francoise de Craecker and Gary Bridger were appointed as audit committee members.

The information was disclosed in a company statement.
