Wolfspeed names five new directors following Chapter 11 exit

Wolfspeed Inc. (NYSE: WOLF) appointed five new directors to its board following its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Anthony M. Abate will serve as chairman, replacing Tom Werner.
The new board members include Abate, Mike Bokan, Eric Musser, Hong Q. Hou, and Aris Bolisay, whose appointment is pending regulatory approvals. Current directors Mark Jensen and Paul Walsh will remain on the board.
Six former directors stepped down in connection with the appointments: Tom Werner, Glenda Dorchak, John Hodge, Darren Jackson, Duy-Loan Le, and Marvin Riley.
Abate brings four decades of technology and telecom leadership experience and currently serves as chairperson of GTT Communications, Mitel, and Tacora Resources. He previously held operating roles including chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Echo360 Inc.
Bokan spent nearly three decades at Micron Technology Inc., most recently as senior vice president of worldwide sales until his retirement in May 2025. Musser completed a 39-year career at Corning Incorporated, serving as president and chief operating officer.
Hou serves as president and chief executive officer of Semtech and previously held executive positions at Brooks Automation and Intel Corporation. Bolisay is vice president of finance at Renesas Electronics Corporation.
The appointments follow Wolfspeed's completion of its financial restructuring through Chapter 11 proceedings. The Durham, North Carolina-based company develops silicon carbide semiconductor technologies for various applications including electric vehicles and power electronics.
