Wingstop names Raj Kapoor as chief operating officer

Wingstop Inc. (NASDAQ: WING) appointed Rajneesh Kapoor as chief operating officer, reinstating the position after previously eliminating it. The company announced the appointment January 7.

Kapoor, 55, previously served as president of international operations at Wingstop since May 2023. In his new role, he will oversee domestic and international franchise development and operations, as well as company-owned restaurants.

Before joining Wingstop, Kapoor worked at 7-Eleven Inc. for 27 years, most recently as senior vice president of fresh food, beverages and restaurants from January 2018 to April 2023. During his tenure at 7-Eleven, he held various positions spanning information technology and international operations.
