Tree Island Steel names Guy Elliott to board of directors

Tree Island Steel Ltd. (TSX: TSL) announced the appointment of Guy Elliott as an independent director to its board of directors, effective January 1, 2026. Elliott will also serve on the company's audit committee.
Elliott was an audit partner in the Energy and Natural Resources group at KPMG's Vancouver office for more than 25 years until his retirement in June 2022. During his tenure, he conducted financial statement and internal control audits for mining companies listed in Canada, the United States and internationally.
The new board member holds a CPA.CA designation and the Institute of Corporate Directors Director designation. He earned a bachelor's degree from Simon Fraser University.

Tree Island Steel, headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, operates facilities in Canada and the United States producing wire products for industrial, residential construction, commercial construction and agricultural applications. The company's products include galvanized wire, fasteners, nails, stucco reinforcing products, concrete reinforcing mesh and fencing products.
