Sky Quarry adds three independent directors to board

Sky Quarry Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYQ) appointed three new independent directors to its board on November 21, 2025, according to a company statement. The appointments filled vacancies created by a board expansion approved in August 2025.

The new directors are Omar Hussein, Alexander Monje, and Robert Byrne. Hussein serves as co-founder and chief strategic officer of ConvergeFi, an artificial intelligence company focused on real estate lending. He previously worked as chief financial officer at companies preparing for initial public offerings and as an investment banker at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley.

Monje is a partner and chief legal officer at 10X Capital and has held senior legal and governance roles at public and private companies. He was part of the sponsor team of Digital World Acquisition Corp. and has experience in commercial and securities litigation.

Byrne brings nearly 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and capital markets adviser. He serves as principal at Alpha Nine Ventures Ltd. and president of TB Byrne & Associates, advising companies on corporate finance and strategic financings. He has also advised on digital asset treasury and real-world asset tokenization strategies.

All three appointees are considered independent under NASDAQ listing rules. The company disclosed the appointments in a Form 8-K filing on November 21, 2025.

Sky Quarry operates as an oil production, refining, and environmental remediation company focused on recycling waste asphalt shingles and remediating oil-saturated materials.
