Ridgeline Minerals appoints Ryan Walchuck as independent director

Ridgeline Minerals Corp. (TSXV: RDG) (OTCQB: RDGMF) (FSE: 0GC0) announced the appointment of Ryan Walchuck to its board of directors as an independent director. Duane Lo will resign from the board while remaining as chief financial officer.



Walchuck serves as senior manager of business analysis at Rio Tinto, where he supports strategic investment decisions and capital allocation. He previously held senior roles at both Rio Tinto and BHP, working on projects including Simandou and Oyu Tolgoi across Africa, Australia, Mongolia, and the Americas. Walchuck holds designations as a chartered accountant and chartered business valuator.



The company granted Walchuck 150,000 stock options exercisable at $0.24 per share for five years and 100,000 deferred share units under the company's incentive plans, according to the press release statement.



Ridgeline operates a 200-square-kilometer exploration portfolio across seven projects in Nevada. The company maintains wholly-owned assets at Big Blue, Atlas, Bell Creek, and Coyote, while holding earn-in agreements with Nevada Gold Mines at Swift and Black Ridge projects and with South32 at the Selena project.



The earn-in agreements represent up to $60 million in partner-funded exploration expenditures across the three projects.
