Orum Therapeutics adds two directors to board
Orum Therapeutics (KRX: 475830) announced the appointment of Maria Koehler, M.D., Ph.D., and Geoff Meyerson to its board of directors following approval at the company's annual general meeting on March 27.
The biotechnology company, which develops degrader-antibody conjugates, said the appointments bring clinical development and strategic investment expertise as it advances its programs.
Dr. Koehler previously served as chief medical officer at Repare Therapeutics until March 2025 and has held senior oncology development roles at Pfizer, GSK, and AstraZeneca. She led development of IBRANCE (palbociclib) at Pfizer and has more than 20 years of experience in clinical development and regulatory strategy.
Meyerson is co-founder and CEO of Locust Walk and co-founder of Franklin Life Science, Venning Life Sciences, and BioBreak. He brings experience in biotech investment banking, business development, and venture capital.
Orum develops targeted protein degraders combined with antibody delivery mechanisms for cancer treatment. The company operates facilities in Daejeon, South Korea, and Lexington, Massachusetts.
"Maria and Geoff join Orum at an important point in the Company's evolution," said Sung Joo Lee, founder and CEO of Orum. "As we advance our next wave of DAC programs to the clinic and continue to broaden our payload capabilities, their perspectives will be highly valuable."
The company is advancing GSPT1-directed programs and developing novel degrader payloads to expand the applications of its degrader-antibody conjugate technology.
