Ondas appoints former Rafael executive to advisory board

Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) announced the appointment of Dr. Irit Idan to the advisory board of its Ondas Autonomous Systems subsidiary. Dr. Idan will serve alongside Yaniv Rotem as the second member of the advisory board.

Dr. Idan previously served as Executive Vice President for Research and Development at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, an Israeli government-owned defense company. At Rafael, she led research and development programs in defense, space, and air superiority systems. She later worked as an investment advisor for the SoftBank Vision Fund.

Dr. Idan holds a Ph.D. in astrophysics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. She has received fellowships including the Amelia Earhart Fellowship for Research Excellence in Aerospace Science and the Minerva Fellowship for German-Israeli academic exchange.

"Her experience leading innovation at the highest levels of the defense industry and advising global technology investments will be invaluable as we expand OAS' role in delivering next-generation autonomous systems for defense and homeland security," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas.

The appointment supports the company's strategy to expand its advisory network with leaders in defense and autonomous systems technology. Ondas Autonomous Systems operates through subsidiaries American Robotics and Airobotics, offering drone platforms including the Optimus System and Iron Drone Raider.

Ondas Holdings provides autonomous drone solutions and private wireless technology through its business units Ondas Autonomous Systems and Ondas Networks. The company's technologies serve defense, security, and industrial applications.
