Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) announced that Brigadier General Patrick Huston, U.S. Army (ret.), has joined the advisory board of its Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS) business unit.
General Huston retired from the Pentagon after a 35-year military career that included service as a commanding general, Army Ranger, helicopter pilot, and prosecutor. He completed five combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and served as general counsel for the 101st Airborne Division, Joint Special Operations Command, and U.S. Central Command. He also participated on the Pentagon's Responsible AI Board.
In his advisory role, General Huston will support OAS as it develops autonomous intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and counter-drone systems for defense and security markets. He will also assist with the company's acquisition and investment strategy in domestic and international markets.
"Patrick's distinguished operational and legal background with U.S. and allied forces, combined with his deep expertise in emerging technologies, provides Ondas with unique insight as we scale our operational platform," said Eric Brock, chairman and CEO of Ondas Holdings.
General Huston currently serves on the FBI's AI Task Force and the American Bar Association's AI Task Force. He holds certification as a director with the National Association of Corporate Directors and maintains FAA commercial pilot ratings.
