NovaRed Mining names retired army colonel to advisory board

NovaRed Mining Inc. (CSE: NRED) (OTCQB: NREDF) announced the appointment of retired U.S. Army Colonel Mark A. Calabrese to its advisory board, according to a company statement.

Calabrese served 26 years in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps and brings 36 years of combined military, intelligence and defense contracting experience. His military career included intelligence operations, strategic planning and security programs across the United States, Middle East and Asia-Pacific region.

The retired colonel's military service encompassed operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. His military decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal and Meritorious Service Medal.

In the private sector, Calabrese worked with defense contractors and multinational organizations on security operations, strategic risk assessment and crisis management.

"Colonel Calabrese's remarkable leadership experience, strategic insight, and global operational expertise make him an outstanding addition to our Advisory Board," said Brian Gross, chief executive officer of NovaRed Mining.

Vancouver-based NovaRed Mining focuses on copper-gold porphyry projects in British Columbia. The company uses artificial intelligence-enhanced geospatial technology to identify and evaluate mineral properties. Its Wilmac copper-gold project covers 16,078 hectares in the Quesnel porphyry belt, located approximately 10 kilometers west of Hudbay Minerals Inc.'s Copper Mountain Mine.
