Northpointe Bancshares names Rodney Hood to board of directors

Northpointe Bancshares Inc. (NYSE: NPB) announced the appointment of Rodney E. Hood to its board of directors, effective February 27, 2026. Hood will also serve on the board of the company's subsidiary, Northpointe Bank.
Hood previously served as Acting Comptroller of the Currency and Chairman of the National Credit Union Administration. During his tenure as Acting Comptroller, he administered the federal banking system and served as Chief Executive Officer of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. He also held positions as Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and voting member of the Financial Stability Oversight Council.
Prior to his government roles, Hood held senior leadership positions in retail finance, commercial banking, affordable housing, and community development in the private sector. His career in financial services spans nearly three decades.

Northpointe Bancshares, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, operates through its subsidiary Northpointe Bank, which provides home loans and retail banking products. The company focuses on mortgage warehouse financing and positions itself as a mortgage-focused bank.
