September 3, 2025 4:02 AM EDT

Neotech Metals Corp. (CSE: NTMC) has commenced drilling operations at its Hecla-Kilmer rare earth project in Ontario, Canada, according to a company statement. The drilling program is designed for up to 10,000 meters and focuses on infill definition and extensional targets within the Pike Zone.

The company stated the program aims to advance toward a maiden resource estimate in 2026. Crews have mobilized to the 100%-owned property to conduct drilling and environmental studies. The company will also re-log historic drill core from previous operator VR Resources and conduct selective assaying of previously unsampled intervals.

Neotech appointed Jared Galenzoski, a professional geologist and the company's current VP Exploration, to its board of directors. He replaces Brian Thurston, who served on the board for two years.

Environmental baseline studies, including water sampling, will be conducted as part of the project development. The company stated it will continue community and Indigenous engagement efforts with regional stakeholders.

The company provided an update on its TREO Project in British Columbia, noting that samples from a recently completed drill program are at the laboratory with assay results pending. An update will be provided once results are received and analyzed.

Neotech trades on the CSE under ticker NTMC, on the OTCQB as NTMFF, and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as V690. The company holds a portfolio of rare earth element and rare metals projects, including the Hecla-Kilmer project located 20 kilometers from the Otter Rapids hydroelectric power station and Ontario Northway railway.
