Natuzzi appoints TIM CEO Pietro Labriola as non-executive director

Italian furniture company Natuzzi S.p.A. (NYSE: NTZ) announced that Pietro Labriola has accepted appointment as a non-executive director through co-optation, effective August 6, 2025. The appointment follows a resolution by the board of directors on July 29, 2025.

Labriola will serve until the next shareholders' meeting, when shareholders will vote on confirming his appointment. He currently serves as chief executive officer and general manager of Telecom Italia S.p.A. (TIM), a European telecommunications company.

The executive brings over 30 years of experience in telecommunications and technology sectors, including previous roles as CEO of TIM Brazil. He holds a degree in business and economics from the University of Bari and a master's degree in management of innovation and technologies from Tecnopolis.

Labriola serves on the board of GSMA, an organization representing mobile network operators globally, and is a member of the general council of Confindustria, Italy's main manufacturing and services association. Since May 2024, he has held a mandate for digital transition at Confindustria and serves as president of Asstel, the Italian telecommunications trade association.

He joined the TIM Group in 2001 and has held senior marketing positions across corporate and consumer segments in fixed and mobile telephony. Prior to TIM, he worked at Infostrada, Boston Consulting Group, Cable&Wireless, and France Telecom.

Natuzzi, founded in 1959, produces and distributes design and luxury furniture through 610 monobrand stores worldwide as of March 31, 2025. The company has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 1993.
