Molecular Partners proposes Clare Fisher for board election
Molecular Partners AG (SIX: MOLN; NASDAQ: MOLN) announced the nomination of Clare Fisher for election to its board of directors at the company's annual general meeting scheduled for April 14, 2026.
The meeting will take place at 9:00 am CET at JED Events in Schlieren, Switzerland. Fisher currently serves as senior vice president for global business development and mergers and acquisitions at BeOne Medicines, an oncology company.
Fisher brings more than two decades of healthcare experience in leadership roles, including positions at Kaleido as chief business officer and at Shire plc as group vice president and global head of transactions and business development. She also held senior business development roles at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Blueprint Medicines, and Genzyme Corporation.
"Clare brings extensive leadership experience in business and corporate development in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry," said Bill Burns, chairman of Molecular Partners' board.
Current board member Steven H. Holtzman will not seek re-election after 12 years of service. Patrick Amstutz, chief executive officer of Molecular Partners, acknowledged Holtzman's contributions, noting his role in securing the company's first pharmaceutical partnership and supporting its Swiss IPO and U.S. listing.
Fisher holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Bath and an MBA from Henley Management College in the United Kingdom.
Molecular Partners develops DARPin therapeutics, a class of protein drugs for cancer treatment. The clinical-stage biotech company, founded in 2004, maintains offices in Zurich, Switzerland and Concord, Massachusetts.
