Median Technologies adds Lion Point Capital founder to board

Median Technologies (Euronext Growth: ALMDT) appointed Didric Cederholm to its board of directors, the French medical technology company announced. The appointment was approved during an ordinary shareholders' meeting held on October 30.



Cederholm serves as founding partner and chief investment officer of Lion Point Capital, a global special situations investment fund. He previously spent nearly eight years at Elliott Management and worked as a principal at Eos Partners.



The new board member graduated with honors from Columbia Business School in 2003 as a Fulbright Scholar and earned an LLM from Stockholm University in 2001. He served in the Swedish Armed Forces from 1997-1999 as an interrogation officer and later as a second lieutenant in Swedish Military Intelligence.



Median Technologies develops eyonis®, an artificial intelligence-powered software suite for early cancer diagnosis, and provides AI-based image analyses and central imaging services for oncology drug developers. The company operates in France, the United States, and China.

Lion Point Capital was founded in 2014 and focuses on investing in equity and debt securities of undervalued public and private companies. The firm's partners work to unlock value through fundamental analysis and actions including strategy changes, operational efficiency improvements, and governance enhancements.
