Martin Lundstedt will not seek reelection to AUTOLIV board

Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE: ALV) announced that Martin Lundstedt, a current board member, has decided not to stand for reelection at the company's 2026 annual stockholders meeting. Lundstedt's service as a director will conclude at that meeting.

Lundstedt has served on the Autoliv board for five years since 2021. "It has been my honor to serve on the Autoliv Board these past five years and contribute to Autoliv's vision of Saving More Lives," Lundstedt said in a statement.

Jan Carlson, chairman of the board of directors, acknowledged Lundstedt's contributions. "I wish to thank Martin for his contributions to the performance of the Board as a member in good standing since 2021. In this dynamic period for the automotive industry, his deep experience, leadership, and insights greatly benefited Autoliv," Carlson said.

The board has scheduled the 2026 annual stockholders meeting for May 7, 2026, as an in-person only event. The record date for the meeting is March 11, 2026, and stockholders of record as of that date will be entitled to vote. The company will deliver notice of the meeting to record holders in late March.

Autoliv develops and manufactures automotive safety systems including airbags, seatbelts, and steering wheels. The company reported sales of $10.8 billion in 2025 and operates in 25 countries with 64,000 employees.
