Manganese X Energy Corp. (TSXV: MN) announced the appointment of Desmond Tranquilla to its board of directors, effective October 29, 2025.

Tranquilla, a professional engineer, brings 32 years of experience in mining project management, construction and operations. He currently serves as vice president of projects at Canada Nickel Company Inc., where he helped advance the Crawford Nickel Project.

His career includes senior positions at SNC-Lavalin North America, Ausenco Canada, AMEC Americas and Detour Gold Corporation. Tranquilla has led major capital projects including Vale's CAD$1.6 billion Atmospheric Emission Reduction Project and Detour Gold's CAD$1.5 billion Detour Lake Project.
