Local Bounti sees board leadership changes as two directors resign

Local Bounti Corporation (NYSE: LOCL) announced that Craig Hurlbert and Matthew Nordby resigned from the company's Board of Directors, effective June 18, 2026.
Hurlbert, who served as Executive Chairman, and Nordby, who served as Lead Independent Director, both announced their resignations on June 17, 2026. The company stated that neither resignation was related to any disagreement with the company or its management. Hurlbert will continue as an employee of the company.
Following the departures, the Board reduced its size from eight to six members. Travis Joyner was appointed Chairman of the Board, and Mark Nelson was named Lead Independent Director.
The Board also made the following committee assignments: Mark Nelson will chair the Audit Committee, joined by Pamela Brewster and Michael Molnar; Pamela Brewster will chair the Compensation Committee, with Mark Nelson as a member; and Mark Nelson will chair the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, with Pamela Brewster as a member.
